#SomethingVeryBadIsGoingToHappen was a disappointment, especially if you go into it expecting horror.
Sure, the first episodes have all kinds of creepy & weird stuff happening, but nevermind all that because it doesn't follow through with anything. It's all just fake-outs.
I do want to know how this show ends, but I can already tell it's going to drive me insane with all the back-and-forth between "ooh here's all this scary freaky stuff" and "haha, gotcha, now hear this totally nonsensical explanation".

I'm thinking one episode apiece, for this one, 'cause we'd probably want to talk it over some after each one. Also nearly two hours on a weekday proved kind of a lot, on a regular basis.
I don't get why is she suddenly obsessed with the engine sound? Like, what is supposed to be odd about that? She should be concerned about getting out of there, not investigating sounds in the woods in winter. She's not even dressed properly for the weather.

I don't trust the fiance. The actor has a harmless look, but I just don't buy that he thinks his family is just a-ok, doesn't explain anything about their odd behaviors, and keeps leaving her alone with them.
