#SonoraPass is one of the highlights of any Sierra Nevada #advbike tour. At 2939m or 9624ft of elevation it is amongst the highest in #California, higher than any #European #pass. Beautifully twisted roads have a bit of a roller coaster feel to them.

This week, @caltrans9.bsky.social and Caltrans District 10 crews made significant progress removing snow from #SonoraPass (State Route 108). Both crews are within a few miles of the summit and above 9,000 ft. of elevation.
