Check out this SFX study and UI redesign for the Brazilian soulslike Deathbound!!! Such an amazing game. For this type of UI, you need sounds with some real 'heaviness' to them. I tried to follow the original vibe but gave it my own personal touch.

@jinanggd create this VFX. I used by inspiration for study Void Grenade SFX.
Original foley in particles sound after explosion and in one of impact sounds. Other sfx are VST synth recorded, and two samples from Soundly and Sonnis.
Mixed and edited in Reaper.
