A species sheet depicting the many changeable features of the species I created, called lipones! It also features Auighebi, an average looking lipone. The body text reads as follows: - Mammals native to Qiwaki, but some species move to other territories - Sexually monomorphic - Omnivorous; particularly enjoys berries, including botanical berries. Most lean pescatarian with meat - Dense, springy fur around neck. This was evolved to resist attacks against the neck; the fur pushes outwards against any applied force - Short/long haired varieties exist, but fur around feet is always long. Auighebi here has a medium coat - Excellent body temperature regulation regardless of coat length - Moves slowly by walking. Faster movement achieved by hopping - Strong calves help for this. Buighebi adapted the dropkick self-defense; it utilizes the calves and spongy paws of lipones to send predators flying. However, it does little damage by itself - Middle of the food chain - Lipone joints cannot bend in a way to facilitate swimming; they will sink once their fur absorbs too much water. Additionally, lipone fur can grow fungi if not properly dried - Antenna for communication. They can be seen bowing to each other and tickling their antennae to silently communicate. Some see this as some sort of formal code lipones follow, despite their endearing appearance - Capable of speech, but also communicate by noises like warning calls and such - All lipones have some degree of alignment with the Martial Element Psychos because of their antenna. Some lipones may be aligned even greater with Psychos, or a different element - The paws on their hands can adhere to surfaces thanks to very strong, retractable, microscopic hooks. They can hold many objects with this - Lipone "hair" is very soft and squishy, like memory foam - Antennae tend to resemble a flower - Burrowing was also adapted to provide better shelter for their brightly colored coats - IM RUNNING OUT OF CHARACTERS FOR ALT TEXT AAAHHHHH!
Surprise, a species sheet! Featuring the random lipone Auighebi, and some Buighebi too!... If you see a pattern with the names, no you don't. She's supposed to be pretty basic looking for the sake of the sheet. "A" is for average!
