The idea of looking through a #hagstone (or “Seeing Stone”) to see the realm of #Faerie was used in Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi’s #fantasy series The #Spiderwick Chronicles, one of many fantasy series I was crazy about as a kid.

Page d'un bestiaire avec le papier jauni et comme titre : Lontra vaporeonis. Le premier dessin d'aquali est le seul en couleur (nuances de bleu et de blanc) et est dans une pose rigide, sur ses quatre pattes. Les autres dessins sont des crayonnés et s’apparente plus à des croquis d'observation d'un spécimen en pleine action. Les illustrations d'aquali le représentent en train de nager, en train de faire la planche sur le dos pour manger un coquillage et enfin en position assis et de dos. Il y a aussi un croquis du crâne d'aquali, soit celui d'une loutre, mais avec les rayons osseux des nageoires.
Il y a 2 semaines, c'était l'anniversaire d'une amie. Pour l'occasion j'ai dessiné son pokémon préféré de façon réaliste en m'inspirant du guide de Spiderwick.
