My finished hedgehog fibres lucky dip spin. It’s about 500 yds and 200 g. I left out 2 of the bumps from the bag because they felt too different.
And I wish I could identify the fibers because some were really long and hard to draft out and others were so short.

Last year for #SpinTogether I holed up and didn't go anywhere or do anything but spin as much thread as I could (12 miles!)
This year for Spin together and #Spindy500 #TeamStrandedSpinners I am going to spindle spin so I can still live my life and be a part of the world.

Hand combed merino wool blended using just cyan, magenta, yellow and black. 24 colours mixed with a base of 20% black to create a moody rainbow.

9 hand combed and blended CMYK colours placed in rainbow order across my hackle. Each colour had 10% black added. I then drafted the colours off, moving side to side to create an oscillating rainbow.

Here’s the fibre I began with to start spinning for #spintogether. I first blended a 24 colour rainbow using my home made wool combs. If I have enough time at the end I will be spinning an oscillating rainbow.
All of the spinning will be done on the Fold prototype.
