FINALLY tallying total yards & plies from #Spindy500, which ended a week ago. Blame my day job. 😅
My total count was 5,564 “Spindy” yards at 27.6 oz. Now to wet set & get those “true” knittin’ yards.

Part of that was a very fluffy alpaca + down wool that went on fooooorever. Can you guess which one from the bobbin?

Brought the wheel to work today, because I'm bringing it to knit night for #Spindy500 #TeamStranded
Gave three class presentations since I dragged the whole kit in. 8 kids tried treadling. Most 3 of the year olds question was I like blue. We are still working on what a question is.

Last year for #SpinTogether I holed up and didn't go anywhere or do anything but spin as much thread as I could (12 miles!)
This year for Spin together and #Spindy500 #TeamStrandedSpinners I am going to spindle spin so I can still live my life and be a part of the world.
First up is Day 1 spinning progress from yesterday (Saturday).
8oz of fiber, most of it mixed/scrappy batts or rolags that I prepped awhile ago to use up small bits and bobs rather than throw them out.
