Here’s the order of priority upon getting home after five months on the road:
Wash clothes,
Unload van,
Take a shower,
Clean van,
Clean EV,
Service van,
Pay tax bill,
Purchase more van/equipment mods,
Tidy yard,
Dentist,
Doctor…
I will get to the house eventually 🤷♀️

If I zoom in even further you can see a nearby abandoned open cut gold mine which is ‘just the other side’ of the agricultural zone at Bullfinch.
I was wondering why the tarmac I drove on yesterday was so wide and well made. There’s the answer!

A human modified gnamma hole to catch more water. Quite common out here
Feeling strangely sad about this trip ending soon. Great to be back on home turf with endless woodlands and granite outcrops.

Absolutely howling headwind and rain squalls so I cut the drive short today at Wudinna/260km. Not that safe out there.
Could almost hear the fuel gurgling down the plug hole as well🤣

Just north of Townsville atm. Popped in to check out Wallaman falls. Pretty impressive as was the road to get there. Very squigly and steep.
