And weβre back to be greeted by a jungle.

Here I sit above the coastal plain with a lack of desire to go back into the den.

My enthusiasm toward going home is waningπ
Gonna miss living in my wonderful chariot travelling to wherever π’

If I zoom in even further you can see a nearby abandoned open cut gold mine which is βjust the other sideβ of the agricultural zone at Bullfinch.
I was wondering why the tarmac I drove on yesterday was so wide and well made. Thereβs the answer!

Bummer! My favourite back track to Perth is closed. Boooβ¦
I will have to go the long way and my followers donβt get to see more of special WA not so well known.

I know Iβm in WA proper at Norseman. Mining vehicles and machinery abound.

Replenished gnamma holes on top of the granite outcrop
A few small boulders up top
Hardy succulents in the sparse soil
A human modified gnamma hole to catch more water. Quite common out here
Feeling strangely sad about this trip ending soon. Great to be back on home turf with endless woodlands and granite outcrops.

Sorry about the lack of detail but I took advantage of a tail wind and my extra 21/2 hrs I got back crossing the border.
Closing the loop.

Absolutely howling headwind and rain squalls so I cut the drive short today at Wudinna/260km. Not that safe out there.
Could almost hear the fuel gurgling down the plug hole as wellπ€£

My camp site was around the corner from the northern terminus of the Heysen Trail so what did I do? A little jaunt along for 5km. π₯Ύ

Just so all my travel followers know, I am heading into more remote areas of Oz where Bluesky struggles. Comms may be a bit sparse. My FB account is much better if you do FB.

Just north of Townsville atm. Popped in to check out Wallaman falls. Pretty impressive as was the road to get there. Very squigly and steep.
