I’m probably thanking my lucky stars today as I was waltzing along when I saw a flower that I wanted to snap. I heard a very load crack and thump nearby. it was a huge trunk and everything above it that fell across the very path I was taking 30m around the corner!

Here’s the order of priority upon getting home after five months on the road:
Wash clothes,
Unload van,
Take a shower,
Clean van,
Clean EV,
Service van,
Pay tax bill,
Purchase more van/equipment mods,
Tidy yard,
Dentist,
Doctor…

I will get to the house eventually πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

It is a member of the macropod family (the marsupial family that includes the kangaroos, wallabies, tree-kangaroos, and wallaroos).

Conservation status in NSW: Endangered

If I zoom in even further you can see a nearby abandoned open cut gold mine which is β€˜just the other side’ of the agricultural zone at Bullfinch.

I was wondering why the tarmac I drove on yesterday was so wide and well made. There’s the answer!

Well I just couldn’t stop myself. A whimsical detour to Baladjie Nature Reserve which contains one of our typical granite outcrops which creat their own ecosystem.

Bummer! My favourite back track to Perth is closed. Booo…
I will have to go the long way and my followers don’t get to see more of special WA not so well known.

Feeling strangely sad about this trip ending soon. Great to be back on home turf with endless woodlands and granite outcrops.

Sorry about the lack of detail but I took advantage of a tail wind and my extra 21/2 hrs I got back crossing the border.

Closing the loop.
