Panelists at the #SSP2024 opening plenary on AI suggest that, if/as the effort involved in writing and reviewing manuscripts decreases, then reproducibility of results will be the “proof of work.”
But how will we decide whether what is reproduced matters or put pressure on how it is conceptualized?
