#StarlingHouse was not what I was expecting. It wasn't horror. It wasn't 🌶. Even the self proclaimed description of haunted house, didn't really fit. It was an interesting story that was too long & too short. The ending seemed abrupt and not entirely satisfying. But beautiful cover. #booksky 💙 📚

Book recommendation! #StarlingHouse by #AlixEHarrow - a cracking tale, possibly #AmericanGothic, maybe #YoungAdult or even #MagicalRealism, who knows? It was excellent, though, and I thoroughly recommend it.
