The Two Balconies, created by Salvador Dalí in 1929. The artwork is an oil on canvas piece measuring 23 x 34 cm. The narrative is said to stem from Dalí's anxieties about his affair with Gala Eluard, the wife of artist Paul Eluard. The painting is currently held by the Museu Chácara do Céu in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was notably one of four valuable paintings stolen from the museum during Carnival in 2006 and remains missing today.
