Summer and Niko both learned smithing from the Ananta while growing up in Gyr Abania! Niko is the BSM/ARM while Summer preferred GSM (which served her well when she went to the Thaumaturges' Guild and GSM was how the mages maintained their weapons. 🧵

Nald'thal isn't Summer's official patron, gamewise, but thaumaturges are basically the Church Of Thal and she is very much Thal's Specialest Princess. In Aglaia she gets picked to be a soul jar inspo and "Well done! You are deserving of reward!" is praise kink for her specifically.

Summer is the world's most egregious glass cannon; she's a bitty catgirl with noodle arms who develops codependencies with her tanks and hates battle w/o them. She's also one of the most dangerous black mages alive, not because she's powerful but because she's innovative.
