#inkvent2025 Day 21 "Chaos", Extreme Sheen ink
I did a #sumosketch of Tobizaru having his hair styled by the tokoyama. (This was mid-styling so not sure if it was the ginkgo (Ōichō) or topknot (chonmage)).
I prefer the pencil sketch, but this ink has nice chromo & blends well with gouache

Reference: Wakatakage-He’s having a tough start to the November basho, but I am still rooting for him. TBH I’m rooting for all of them. I want them to do their best.

Another ink from #kittyinkpot “forest wind knows where to find the mountain bird”. The chromo was promising, but was hard to manipulate different components, especially when applied from a drier fountain pen nib. It just needs experimenting first.

I haven’t felt like doing anything for Halloween other than carving pumpkins. I first thought I’d like to do a sumo carving, but I usually end up carving more than one design for each side. Here’s the rough sketch of the two Yokozuna from the centennial sumo event.
