Watching the sunset sinking into the ocean. The silhouette of a large, tall haystack-shaped rock sits in the ocean to the right of the setting sun. About 2/3 of the bright orange sun is showing above the horizon and it’s casting an orange reflection on the water. The viewpoint is from the beach which is glowing orange-on-brown from the sun. There are two mounds of sand with silhouetted beach grasses standing on the right and left sides of the image.

This haystack rock is the tallest of Oregon’s three haystacks, but less well known than the iconic Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach.
