Bamboo grows rapidly, needs less water than many crops, and absorbs carbon quicklyโ€”making it a strong candidate for sustainable materials.
If scaled, this innovation could cut plastic pollution in packaging, single-use products, and consumer goods, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. Fast biodegradation means less microplastic buildup in soil and oceans, helping ecosystems recover faster and supporting a circular economy.
