Reportedly, the ship's owner, Republican superdonor Harland Dorrinson, was busy advising Justice Thomas how to vote on upcoming Court cases and failed to notice that the vessel had drifted off course. In Washington, the wife of fellow justice Samuel Alito paid homage to the Thomases by lowering her QAnon flag to half-staff. At the White House, Donald Trump appeared to take the Thomases’ mishap in stride, telling reporters, “It is what it is.”
