#ttrpg tip: Layer your encounters. Present an initial obstacle before adding an additional complication. In games with monsters, throwing one in when the PCs are half way done solving the first problem is a great way to spice things up.

The rules are simple, it's fun to roll dice, and you can let your players make skill checks to "cheat".
