Photograph taken crouched down looking at the carving on the end of a stone table-top tomb in the graveyard at St Agatha's Church, next to Easby Abbey in Yorkshire. Yes, my exploring day started in a graveyard 🙈. Went to see the medieval paintings at St Agatha's but spied this on the way in! Image shows the end panel of a very old stone tomb with lush green grass below. The panel features a skull, a nose-less winged angel, a torch, a trumpet amongst other things. Blue sky overhead.
