In Dec we had the joy of running a TAG session on the arts & archaeology. Since then Kit's worked hard to map all the contributions. From interpretative dance and flash poetry to the voice of a slate mine. Come explore our session storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/165a...

We've had a wonderful time at TAG in York. Many thanks to all our speakers and everyone who helped put the conference together. We're off to absorb all the new information we've learnt @tag2025york.bsky.social #TAG2025 #yorkTAG
I had a fantastic time at #TAG2025 in York. It was wonderful to attend so many sessions, present in @claireboardman.bsky.social’s amazing session on responses to the climate crisis, and chair a session for the first time with Dr Cole Juckette, and have a nice time in a pretty city too!
Three men at a stage lectern, one sitting and two standing. The man in the centre is speaking while the others listen intently.
Still thinking about this session: rubble as artefact, archaeologists as listeners and how hard we all listened to Mazen Iwaisi, Brian Boyd, Mauro Puddu and Tobias Mörike. #TAG2025 #YorkTAG
And definitely feeling more inspired (and informed) after @claireboardman.bsky.social and @reallycal.bsky.social’s session on what #archaeology and #heritage can offer to nature-based responses to climate change - thanks for letting me talk about OS maps and machine learning with #MapReader #TAG2025
What a fantastic conference @tag2025york.bsky.social, rounded off with the incredible presentations in our session on #storytelling as creative #archaeological practice! Huge thanks to our speakers and to all the organisers and volunteers for a monumental effort #TAG2025 #yorkTAG 🏺
100% agree - we were blown away by the variety, depth, and sensitivity of all of our speakers! So excited to see what #storytelling can continue to offer to #archaeology in future #TAG2025

Well York, once again you've been a treat. #TAG2025 was brilliant, and I was particularly delighted to meet archeologists who are exploring MTH and multispecies topics. Sorry for putting you all off your coffee 🤭☕ #conference @hgcresearchcentre.bsky.social @york.ac.uk

Lovely storytelling performance by Harold Myrtum in the storytelling session at #TAG2025 in York! Just amazing :)
On the left a man with a purple jumper and beard is standing in the dock of the magistrate's court. He is looking at the screen on the right on which is projected he opening slide of his talk entitled "A Palace at Verulamium and other stories." The slide shows the title of the talk, his name, and the logo of St Albans Museums. In the bottom corner of the slide are two people with a GPR (ground penetrating radar). There is lots of wood panelling in the courtroom. In the foreground is a lamp and the tops of some people's heads.
Fifty years (13/50). Today I'm in court! Later today I am presenting at #TAG2025 in #York. The last time I attended #TAG was in the early 1990s and I've never given a paper before. Here, I'm talking about the geophysics project from the dock of the court in @stalbansmuseums.bsky.social #VoteKris
we won the #TAG2025 pub quiz! "only the stones remain" with caoimhe darvill, @admt9999.bsky.social, win scutt and @julianthomas2.bsky.social 🏆
Perfect! Your rapid style really captures the wonderful entangled messiness of TAG delegates and their big thoughts & hopes. #TAG2025

Book page reads "Belongings: Can I Keep All My Stuff in the Anthropocene?"
Making my way to @york.ac.uk for #TAG2025 where I will be presenting my #Transdisciplinary exploration of #MoreThanHuman experiences in the Anthropocene. Yes there will be talk about #civets, and even human #poop. I'm enjoying reading #TysonYunkaporta en route. @hgcresearchcentre.bsky.social
