The 2025 #TCEQ Public Drinking Water Conference had a session on #weather. The bottom line: it seems like Texas is done with rains for a while and the #HurricaneSeason is expected to be above average.
Abbott's House Bill 49 allows farmers to use treated fracking water starting Sep 2025. Who knows what toxic stew Gulf shrimp will deliver to your plate. #TCEQ works for Abbott, Abbott works for corporate donors. #txlege we are not safe

Just wrapped up the 2025 TCEQ Trade Fair & Conference. Loved the new venue in SATX and had a great time networking, learning updates to environmental regulations, and hearing about current industry trends and interagency collaboration.

My dad just died from renal cancer after drinking #PFAS contaminated #EastTexas water for 20 years. #TCEQ said "no need for alternative water supply" even the levels were high. I told him not to drink it but he was stubborn. Otherwise completely healthy. Coulda lived 20 more years. 🤨
