Was subbing in 2nd grade. The class had done an activity called Turkey in disguise. The kids got a turkey and had to disguise it as something else.
Some did a ninja, mummy, etc. Then there was this one! The girl said the white thing was one of those fancy scarf things. #TeacherTales
At recess with kindergarteners. A girl is standing there doing nothing. A group of 4-5 kids run past her. Her head pops up and she says, “Oh no, not on my watch.”
She turns around and chases after them. She’s probably going to be a state trooper when she grows up. #TeacherTales

Subbing in middle school. 7th grade English teacher was doing a review on a poetry unit. The test was on literary devices.
She printed out a dozen song lyrics. Kids had to read the lyric and identify those parts in the lyric. Had Taylor Swift, the Beatles, etc. A lot of fun. #TeacherTales
I’m subbing in kindergarten. A kid comes up to me and starts to tell me that someone did something. I stop him and ask if this is an emergency or a tattle.
He goes, “You know about tattles?”
