Film #1 of 2026. #TheHoldovers Hadn’t seen this before. I started out hating all the characters and worried it wouldn’t come to much, but I found it quiet, charming and beautiful.

This is THE perfect film to watch between Christmas and New Year. I watched it at the cinema when it first came out and then again yesterday. It bears repeated viewing. Set in New England in 1970/71 - so funny and poignant. Paul Giamatti brilliant as always.
