My thoughts about #TheQueenOfVersailles musical, which I found to be a fascinating mess & can't ignore corruptive forces at play in the team (William Ivey Long), is that I disagree it has be finger-wagging and squeeze the "these rich people are BAD" bullhorn. It's pretty critical as it is.
Is it me or since the announcement of its closing. Headlines are all ”Kristin Chenoweth’s Queen of Versailles” and no longer ”Stephen Schwartz’s Queen of Versailles”…

'The Queen of Versailles' was an interesting commentary on the vulgarity of the rich. A little inconsistent in terms of tone & not the most memorable musically but Kristin Chenoweth certainly is a powerhouse 👑
