中学時代から夢中になったドアーズ、そのオリジナルアルバムの中で一番聴かなかったのがこれ。特に〝ジ・エンド〟〝音楽が終わったら〟に続くべき表題曲が好きになれなくて。ただこの歳になって聴くとアルバム通して思っていたよりも楽しめる。ドアーズは1枚目、2枚目のダイアモンドの原石の様な煌めき、あれはやはり特別なので、69年のロックアルバムと考えたら普通に傑作なのではないか。ずいぶんと久しぶりに針を落としたけれど、これからは結構聴きそう。
