I highly recommend Niall Williams’ “This is Happiness.” Set in the fictional Irish town of Faha in the late 1950s at a time when electricity was being brought to rural Ireland, it is a love story, but mostly a story about embracing life each day as you live it throughout its twists and turns and ups and downs. Someday these very days that we are now living will be the days that we look fondly back upon. Truly a finely written book — lyrical, whimsical and profound. It leaves you feeling better about yourself and the world.

I have just finished #ThisIsHappiness by #NiallWilliams on Audible. It’s a remarkably peaceful story of the West of Ireland before electricity arrived. Beautifully written & read. The author’s follow-up #TimeoftheChild is recently out. My next listen🙂📚🎧
