After a thorough discussion with my beard, we've decided that my previous #vss365 post about #thoroughfare doesn't count towards #thoroughbred, but my post questioning the validity of the previous use of thoroughbred (in the thoroughfare post) counts towards thoroughbred. Both words threw me off.
I looked thoroughly through my previous posts, recalling that I had applied the word #thoroughbred in my #vss365 #microfiction story for the word #thoroughfare— though I'm not certain I'm allowed to reuse it, so I'll need a moment to think this through.

Look up, sang the wind, & Drake craned his neck, looking also with more subtle senses. There, in the #thoroughfare of the skies, a form like a distant eagle grew larger, then larger still, red wings translucent to the bright cold sun. Was the king coming to drink here?

All traveling together in peace

I skipped the #thoroughfare
to solve some other word
problems: moving stuff,
hunger, thirst, AND constantly
being exploited by violent,
petty, illiterate, insane, unforgivable, coercive,
violent men: capitalism.
Then, to my relief, weather
continued solving this word problem: a #vss365 #cyclone. 🌀
The once busy #thoroughfare had emptied completely. When the water dried up, the town which once drew people from all over to walk the lovely streets, was silent. The only traffic left now was an occasional tumbleweed or clouds of dust. And Lizzy. Lizzy remained. But no one else knew that.
