Modifying the algorithm with more aggressive hard edge protection. This does well... buuut perhaps too well! Finding the balance between globally small edges and protecting sharp features is a balancing act. Good results so far though!

The 3rd version of my BuildaBot modifier is now running. The new version should be easier to manage and more powerful. Now there's a single Component collection, and adding objects makes them Add by default. A BotComponent modifier can be added to switch each piece's mode.

Dialogue writer now supports adding dialogue options! Haven't been able to focus on this lately because of life stuff, but with a little bit of tweaking it should be good enough to at least put out a build for people to mess with.

More updates on the dialogue writer! Added A settings menu that will toggle certain UI fields when writing your dialogue, this should make it possible to customize the tool to some extent without having to write any code!

A couple evenings of work and the dialogue writer has made really good progress! It generates valid JSON that you can edit in real time, next up is dialogue options, saving the file and it's mostly complete!

I started my #pixelart app project with a vertical canvas for a mobile app. While I'm by now sure I also want it to be on PC, working with that tall aspect ratio actually brought back some of the finneky elements I enjoy with design so much: A pixel is suddenly important. #gamedev #tooldev
