All that matters at this stage is that the EHRC is transphobic. It can be silent on every other issue of equality and so long as Starmer’s poisonous government can rely on it to remain transphobic then it doesn’t matter a bit that it’s not fit for purpose and led by a bigot.

Let's be clear: if Labour had done well, they'd be saying "our tack rightwards is working"; if doing badly, "we need to tack further to the right". There's no strategy here, just a desire to be a right-wing government.
