“Pleasepleasepleaseplease-“ Alastor sighed, rubbing at the skin between his eyebrows with the tip of his thumb. “No, Lucifer-“ The pleading just got louder, Lucifer’s hands clutched in the white jacket Alastor had shrugged on, shaking him with the force of his demands. “Fine!” Alastor ignored the cheers from Lucifer, holding out his hand. A white choker was slapped into it, and Alastor grumbled as he fixed it around his neck. “If you wore this no one would even notice it, it looks ridiculous on me.” Lucifer was chuckling to himself as he circled Alastor, much less duckling like then he had seemed earlier when he first suggested swapping outfits, and much more like a vulture. Alastor didn’t enjoy how his stomach swooped.
“I told you, it looks like a totally different outfit with the choker!” Lucifers hands moved Alastor so he could look in the full length mirror. Alastor wanted to bite the snake tongue that peeked from between his lips. “Now now, it’s only fair you try on mine.” Alastor hummed back, tapping the top of Lucifer’s head with his microphone a little harder than he needed to. Lucifer hissed and rubbed his head, but grabbed the red shirt from where Alastor had carefully folded it up, slipping it on. There was a quick adjustment so it didn’t look stupidly oversized, and Lucifer teased Alastor by keeping only the bottom two buttons done up. “That’s certainly not how I wore it.” Alastor needled, poking Lucifer as he shrugged on the black jacket, making the same adjustments. Lucifer laughed, batting his hands away playfully. He picked Efi up from the bed, letting the snake curl around his neck like a tie, hanging there peacefully.
“Please, it would look better if you wore it open like this, show a bit of fluff.” Alastor hated the high pitched squeak he made when Lucifer pinched his hips, going red at the loud cackling from the King. “You insufferable little-“ “Dad!- oh. Oh!” Alastor and Lucifer stared at Charlie like they’d been caught with their hand in the cookie jar, eyes wide and bodies stiff. “Come on, you’re gonna be late for the photos!” She didn’t blink as she grabbed each of them by the wrist, dragging them out of Lucifer’s bedroom. The glare of pure hatred Alastor threw Lucifer’s direction was ignored. At least he’d had the foresight to tuck away his tail.
