M8 Lagoon Nabula

The Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8) and the Trifid Nebula (Messier 20) are emission nebulas in the constellation Sagittarius. The Lagoon Nebula is visible to the eye from a dark location, though a camera is required to capture the colours.
