I'm late to the party, but here are the books I've read this year for the #transrightsreadathon #trr25
I read 6 books for the Trans Rights Readathon. I did not get to everything - my list was a bit ambitious. I've kept those 5 books on my tbr & will finish reading those in April. I donated to both @TIGERRS! and @QueerSpaceCollective. #TRR25 #transrightsreadathon #tdov2025π³ββ§ #transdayofvisability
#TRR25 8 books! Twice as many as last year. My top recommendations are When the Moon was Ours, Desecrated Poppies, and Freshwater.
Please consider donating a multiple of 8 to borderbutterfliesproject.com to provide legal defense and community organizing to trans immigrants π³οΈββ§οΈππ

As the readathon winds down, we hope people continue to read and support trans+ stories (and organizations!) throughout the year. This isnβt an exhaustive list, so if youβre an indie author especially, weβd love a 2025 released self-rec. #trr25 #booksky #transrightsreadathon
Well, I ended up reading 5 really good books for the #TransRightsReadathon. So glad I was able to participate. #TRR25 #BookSky ππ
#TRR25
Since life is super rough at the moment I was only able to finish 5 books during the readathon. But reading those books brought me such joy during a very diffult time, so I am so grateful.
Looking forward to finishing the books I'm now in the middle of and exploring the rest when I can. π
Book 8, final book of #TRR25
Pet by Akwaeke Emezi
A YA novel about a trans girl and a supernatural that is bound to her, and how hiding the truth allows evil to fester. Optimistically set in a near-utopia. It is refreshing to have a trans book where transphobia is not a problem.
I finished all 9 of these books for the 2025 Trans Rights Readathon!
#transrightsreadathon #trr25 #trr #booksky
So happy to have read 1.5 books during the readathon and raise visibility for my trans friends and students. Iβll definitely finish the Felix book and look forward to reading others soon.

Still have one more novella I'm working on but it's not looking like I'll have time to finish today so I'm calling it here. 15 books for this month, 7 of which were read through the week(ish) of the #trr25 ! Banger after banger this month! Thank you to everyone who helped organize this readathon!
Okay book 16 is my for real last book for this year's #transrightsreadathon. $ donated to a local org in my area. Books by trans & nonbinary authors purchased. Happy. Sleepy. And excited to continue reading & yapping about all these amazing stories all yr π€π¦π€

And that's a wrap! Technically the readathon ended earlier today, but I'm still counting A Psalm For the Wild-Built as my last one. And gosh, did I like that one! All 4 of them were so good! I'm looking forward to participating again next year π³οΈββ§οΈ

Book 15 & maybe my last for the official #trr25. Remember to keep uplifting and reading these stories ALL YEAR. EVERY YEAR.
This one ended on a massive cliffhanger, but I'm tired both emotionally and physically so the next book will have to wait π

Book cover for The Poison Fruits by Em Haeger featuring a 3-piece metal band in silhouette performing against a full moon.
Back cover of "The Poison Fruits" book with the blurb: "What should have been just another metal show at a bar out in the cornfields turns into a nightmare for Izzy, the lead singer of The Poison Fruits, and for the people of the midwest metal scene. Fresh off a breakup with her ex-girlfriend and seemingly alone, Izzy flounders at what to do next. Support, and maybe more, comes from Bones, a bassist with a soon-to-be announced truth. But with something horrible on the loose, can the two of them survive?" And an About the Author that states "EM HAEGER (she/they) Em is a non-binary lesbian with a love of forests, dark nights, and delicious stories. They make their home with their wife Cleo, a trans woman and musician.
And my 2nd book announcement! I began writing "The Poison Fruits" a supernatural horror novel with romance over 10 years ago. Right after I finished the 1st draft my Dad died, and I couldn't get back to it until last year. This #trans #sapphic book launches June 3 for Pride! #TDOV #TRR25
It has taken me 2 yrs to get the courage to do this. Announcing my 1st fiction pub in honor of #TRR25 and #TDOV! Goddess Tour is a 5-part novellete erotica series under the pen name Evie Silk. Day One is out now and Day Two can be pre-ordered! #trans #sapphic #booksky
