The male Wren at the pond this morning. He has been waiting for 6 weeks for a female to begin furnishing his nest with feathers & now she has arrived & it has begun.
Egg laying may start in the next few days - one a day for 5-6 days.

I was watching an Adder when I noticed a bird land in the bush in front of me about 10 feet away.
