I saw an electric blue beauty yesterday! The neon cloak-and-dagger cuckoo bee (Thyreus nitidulus) is a brood parasite of the blue-banded bee. I only got a brief look as it zoomed around a grey spider flower (Grevillea buxifolia). Royal National Park, NSW. #bugsky #unbeelievable
