This is a wheel thrown porcelain piece. I hand paint after the bisque firing and use underglazes, then clear glaze before the final firing.

Got a new batch of underglazes and pigments so it's time for testing! I also use a small airtight palette box for when I do small work. Testing is done with just the glaze + a bit with clear glaze over it, fired to cone 6.

Tested my new #underglazes over the weekend, and I am pretty pleased. They look like quality tempera paints. These little bowls are now ready for glazing.
