If you seriously want to preserve wildlife habitat, you need to promote high-density housing development [Two drawings of islands. The first has 100 houses, and all the island is used for it. The second has one apartment building with 100 apartments, a pool, a playground, a vegetable garden, and a park, all of which together only used 24% of the island. The rest of the second island is nature.]

There could even be a parking garage underneath the apartment building for the people who still stay clogged to their cars instead of using public transport like normal people
