A new kiddo in family: a 2nd hand UV-K5(8) to keep company to my UV-K6.
So, I can check the bands out, make comms and check custom firmwares out to found the best grip for me.
Also I just received the famous Nagoya antenna, right testing it.

Before flashing #AubsUK on your UV-K5, take in mind you no longer edit the bands memories channel w/ CHIRP.
Scanning lists it's a good feature, running as expected
But I'll prefer wait 'til the mod will be more mature (00.07 version) and being fixed this glitch.

Woohoo! The pair of Quansheng UV-K5(8) ham radios that I ordered have arrived! Already got one for "normal" use, so these two are going to become a crossband repeater (UHF/VHF) so that I can get on a nearby local repeater without hovering by my window like a weirdo.
