has anyone ever tried to run a #uxn emulator on the #Miyoo Mini Plus? Well, there you go.

I'm using Raven, whose GUI I ported to SDL2.0 (rust-sdl2). Sound still doesn't work. Mouse emulation done using the arrows - it's clunky but it works.

Well, Verizon is down in my area, at least mostly. I'm reminded of the #UXN developer's troubles getting technology to work (resulting in UXN being created). This has been interesting.

My dad can't do anything because he works from home, so there's that. #workingFromHome

Once I finish it on Neralie, I'll backport it to Bifurcan and Catclock

got home and made some progress on the #uxn MPD client, got playlists shown in their own list, i still need to implement the ability to select a playlist to load, but were getting there! The scheduler I wrote for parsing incoming data seems to be quite reliable [โ€ฆ]

Was playing around with 6502 assembly the other day and went down the wozmon rabbithole, i got a little inspired and wrote a little 256 byte basic monitor in #uxn

I still have 20-ish bytes remaining of freespace so i could maybe get some comfort features in there

Here's a melancholy little #ORCฮป sequence (running on #uxn) and applied to the polyphony channel of #mGB (channel 5 through #ArduinoBoy, etc.) to run the #DMG ( #gameboy). All this is happening through the #NerdSEQ which is handling #MIDI CC values with a patch.

im hoping to port uxn to a tiny risc-v chip that drives the leds on the LCD when its plugged it :3

I think in run-on sentences, it appears. After reading some #UXN stuff, I've realized how natural it is to write like that, it fits how I think and flows naturally for me.
Should I use different punctuation? When I use a semicolon when I want to use a run-on comma, it seems to grammatically work [โ€ฆ]

As far as minimalism and portability are concerned, it's like #UXN if it were more similar in spirit to 2000s-era computing rather than 80s-era computing.

SubSky doesn't intend to "compete" with UXN; I believe it's worth checking out if your idea of minimal computing is 32-bit instead of 8 or [โ€ฆ]

Something I'd love to make if I had the time: actual "collapse computing" utilities for uxn that can read and edit real file types people actually use, providing a way for tiny 8-bit emulated systems to usefully interact with those files. For example:

* ZLIB port that can open zip and tgz [โ€ฆ]

The moment when you feel really happy that you have several small purple lines on a dark purple background on your screen. #uxn makes you remembering the joy of old computing. I hope I learn it quickly enough, so I can publish something useful in the near future.

I think the thing I like most about #uxn is that the name's glyphs have rotational symmetry. That's sort of fun.

#uxn should steal Java's slogan of "Write once, run anywhere" as it actually delivers on that promise unlike Java

I really start to like #uxn and #varvara. It's such a minimalist architecture and it's also open source and open standard.

If I have enough time I'll make a "doom's day" computer in #verilog and I'll probably buy one of those small #FPGAs from #Olimex.
