These incredible crystals of #grossular #garnet overgrow a foliation consisting of #wollastonite + #diopside. And what's that grey mineral in the lower-right corner of garnet? Oh, that's #vesuvianite! There is almost no carbonate left in this high grade contact metamorphic marble!
