Extra Story 1: After defeating the archdemon, Ras is unable to fall asleep. Vildred says that maybe he accidentally fed him too much coffee (kopiko88 to be exact), resulting in a disrupted sleep cycle. Iseria, enraged, grabs Vildred by the scruff and yells at Vildred.
Ras makes a phone call to Ran, saying that to film the side story, they'd be needing an important artifact (i.e. the summer sword). Off-camera, Ran tells them that they can't borrow the summer sword and tells them to use whatever prop they have on hand. Daunted, Ras says that he only has coffee, to which Vildred replies that he doesn't really know enough about the drink for a whole side story.

Remembering the memory after understanding what Vildred meant, Ras tells Vildred that he still thinks that coffee is bitter. But after understanding the flavor notes/the different memories, Ras says that he'd always (cherish) Vildred/their experiences together.
Two empty mugs lay in the grass. Title drop: At the end of the world, a cup of coffee. (Appreciating coffee as a metaphor for cherishing different kinds of experiences).

Vildred laughs and tells Ras that it's still a tasty drink. Ras gives Vildred a look of disbelief. Memories of Ras' experiences with Vildred (i.e. camping, fighting an enemy) reflect in the coffee cup. Vildred says that if Ras tries to parse the flavor, he'll find that the flavor can also be sweet and sour--
--but the flavor can also be bitter (overlayed atop of the scene wherein Ras and Vildred fight in the 7th world). Vildred says that despite the bitterness, the drink still becomes an experience to cherish and savor. Ras, not understanding at this point in time, quips that he feels that Vildred simply likes the bitterness of the drink. Vildred reveals that his coffee is actually loaded with sugar; hence, avoiding the bitter tastes. Ras is infuriated by this response--
Vildred pats Ras' head, stating that the somber/worried look he had earlier is gone. Vildred reassures Ras by saying that as tomorrow arrives (and they head into the fray to fight the archdemon), he and the other heirs will be there by his side and that he won't be alone.
Vildred tells Ras that they'll save the world together. The sun rises on a new day. The scene shifts back to the present. Time has passed, and Ras watches the sunrise alone.

Ras brings a hot cup of coffee to Meru. Meru comments that she's seen Yuna drink coffee before.
Meru, not expecting the flavor, states that the coffee is bitter. Ras laughs and agrees somewhat solemnly. The scene pans to a reflection of Vildred. Vildred asks Ras if he can't sleep. Ras replies that he doesn't need to (a head canon as the Goddess' vessel, but also to imply that he's not feeling particularly comfortable).
Vildred offers Ras a cup of coffee to drink. Unfamiliar with the drink, Ras takes a sniff before taking a sip-- the coffee is quite bitter.

vildred pats ras' head, which ras questions. vildred (jokingly) explains that headpats exhibit friendship. ras contemplates on this, thinking that vildred's explanation is plausible as the headpats are comforting.
ras reaches out; however, due to his height he is unable to reach vildred's head.
vildred's teasing backfires-- he instead informs ras that (as the name implies) headpats are supposed to land on the head and not the other party's face.
ras, as the heir of the covenant, begins to pat people's heads.

故事走向和原作相似,大概是vil在ras第七次苏醒前得知了轮回的事情(from kayron),于是准备登上月亮一探究竟。这里是出发前和ras告别的一幕。
