The Canadian National Vimy Memorial will appear on the vertical $20 bill coming out in early 2027 as a tribute to Canadaโs contributions and sacrifices in military conflicts throughout its history.

I was fortunate to be able to visit Vimy Ridge many years ago. The site itself is heartstopping. Almost as moving was our taxi ride there, where our driver was ecstatic about our use of French, and his passion for Canada. He spoke about the battle as if it was a week prior. Proud. #vimyridgeday

Four Canadians earned the Victoria Cross in the battle.
