A sculptural vintage 1980s signed handmade hammered bronze Modernist pre Columbian deity Tlaloc Chahk Lightning God design brooch. Entirely handmade hand fabricated cut and hammered from behind in a modernist design recalling pre-Columbian art depicting a lightning god either Chahk of the Maya, or perhaps Tlaloc of the Aztec. He has three lightning bolts across his chest, and his arms are raised in warning to his opponents! No doubt a one of a kind piece of wearable modernist art! Measures 3-5/8" tall by 2.25" wide, and weighs just over 15 grams total. There are two marks on the back of his feet. They look like a lightly etched maker mark, possibly "MW" and on the other foot it looks like a date, possibly "88" or "87". Looks like they were done more than once, so hard to say for sure. In any case, the brooch speaks for itself! An amazing one of a kind piece of wearable art that has its roots in pre Columbian cultures! Excellent vintage condition.

A whimsical vintage 1980s handmade copper enamel figurative Windy Women design artwork by Lilyanne Huguet-David of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Super colorful entirely handmade whimsical design copper enamel artwork by one of the greats of enamel art in Quebec in the second half of the 20th century! Depicts two women all bundled up for the cold and wind of a storm, and one of them has lost her beret in the wind! Huguet-David (b. 1935) was a French-born Jew whose family escaped France just prior to the Nazi invasion, and lived in Quebec for most of her life. She studied enameling in Montreal in the 1970s, and exhibited widely throughout her career in Europe, North America, and Israel. This charming artwork measures 11" diameter by about 3/4" high at rim. Marked at back as shown, "Lilyanne H. David Creation Exclusive N: 0162-3". "Creation Exclusive" denotes that this artwork is a one of a kind. Excellent vintage condition.

A one of a kind pair of vintage 1980s signed and dated handmade sterling silver post-modernist Sci-fi Dancing Robot design dangling pierced earrings. Fun entirely handmade design with lots of movement when worn! Measure 2-5/8" long by 1-1/2" wide, and the pair weigh 16.2 grams total. Hand etched marks at back as shown, "925 S.S." the year "1988" and a signature that I can't quite make out - see my last photo. No doubt a one of a kind pair of post modernist Sci fi wearable art earrings! Excellent vintage condition.

A flamboyant pair of vintage 1980s handmade sterling silver coral and purple sugilite Native American modernist kite-shaped pierced earrings from the American southwest. Typical of much old pawn Native American jewelry, there are no marks on these earrings. The design speaks for itself in my opinion, or maybe screams is a better way of putting it! These are very large and quite colorful with the coral and sugilite inlay, and make a statement when worn. The earrings measure 2-1/4" tall by 1-7/8" wide, and the pair weigh just under 22 grams total. Unmarked as noted above, and likely originally purchased at a Native American craft fair or perhaps a roadside stand with paperwork or labeling that has been lost over the intervening years. Excellent vintage condition.

A fine vintage 1980s signed dated numbered original mezzotint print in colors by Moroccan/Belgian/German artist Hachmi Azza aka al-Hasimi Azza (1950-). A very attractive work, a sort of surrealist still life, and in its original frame matte and under glass. I've included a couple biographical pieces that I found online in the photos section (see last two). Azza is a talented artist who presently lives and works in Solingen, Germany, and his work is found in major collections around the world. This artwork measures 26-1/2" by 21" at the outside of the frame, the image area (inside the matting) is 14" by 11-1/2". Hand signed dated and numbered at the bottom in the margin in pencil by the artist as shown. I have not examined the artwork outside of the original frame etc, and the back papers are still intact as shown. Because it was photographed inside the frame and still under glass, there are reflections in my images that are not present in the actual artwork. I have included a photo of the artwork on an angle to try to show it without most reflections. Excellent vintage condition.
