This Lee Target 'Fair Cardigan' pattern was the one that got me back in to knitting after a 5 year break. This is the second version I've made and it only needs blocking, buttons and ends weaving in. I loved making it so much I may make a third 😁

'Rhoda' cable cardigan knit from a 1944 pattern from TROVE archive.

It was a fun knit. This red wool/acrylic yarn is a glorious colour!

I'm not sure chunky cables was the most flattering choice for my body shape, but it's warm 🙂

I really don't like sewing up pieced knits. But I pulled my finger out and got this 1940s cardigan sewn up.

There are still a lot of ends to weave in, and it needs buttons and a good blocking, but the difficult bit is done.
