Another day, another #visiblemend

A darned patch on the knee of knit woolens

Not the prettiest #visiblemend I’ve ever done, but I’d like to extend the life of my partner’s wool base layer for another season. First time using scotch darning, hopefully it works with the knit instead of stressing it

Today I #visiblemend to drive away the anguish. Some people I have virtually met in recent months in the Strip are bombarded like never before. I wish I could do more, but I'm here, helpless, needle and thread in my hand.

Small protest, but actually a big bit. A sewn hem on my kitchen towel came undone, it took me months to simply do a running stitch (w/ contrasting colour) to fix it. Took me about 20min. Buying new is definitely easier. #visiblemend

Saturday mending project! I re-mended these socks because my original repair was too smöl and felt lumpy. Patched with upcycled yarn from a sweater I unraveled. Hopefully this will be more comfy. #visiblemend #DIYrepair
