🇺🇸🇬🇧 A friend of mine periodically gives me socks to #mend. Her mother made them for her and she uses them to exhaustion. I tell her to bring them to me before the holes become chasms but there's nothing to do. Luckily they are things that can be repaired. #visiblending

I mended the butt of my flannel pjs pants with some flannel cut from some worn out pjs of my son’s. I used freehand yokogushi (horizontal rows) #sashiko to attach it so it should extend the life of these pants by a few years. #Visiblending 🧶
