#childrensnurses are well placed to give children #traumainformed support. We understand the value of #voiceofthechild and #professionalcuriosity. We understand the child is an individual as well as part of a family unit.

When we consider #psychologicalabuse we still need to remember #voiceofthechild, #thinkfamily, #coercivecontrol, #professionalcuriosity, #postseparationabuse. #hiddenabuse is not an island, it has so many parallels to visible #abuse, it's just harder to see.
