The Strident IAH, is a half-body suit of armor designed for advanced combat scenarios, theoretically it was designed for combat scenarios thought previously to be highly improbable. In light of recent conditions, the improbable does not seem so improbable anymore, and patient zero's use of Strident in the field has been greenlit. Originally, Strident was made to be a full-body life support rig. Strident's purpose was to help Arirals in the TAU recover from fatal amounts of trauma (psychological and physical); though last minute changes in development steered it to a tool of battle. The first subject to receive the IAH is known as Deimos Oisram, given to them by an Ariral Doctor known as Caliso Michtavi (see. Celestial Aegis) Deimos received the IAH due to meeting the minimal requirements, those criterial entities being heavily traumatized and being a high value member of the TAU. That, and they signed on to help test the suit on an injured subject in the first place; it is likely Deimos did not see themselves as the one in testing. While Deimos is the first, Deimos will most certainly not be the last to acquire the Strident IAH. The Strident model is granted to TAU Members who have a high level of skill and clearance. The IAH looks like a standard combat rig to most, but the tech glasses welded to the user's face contain a detailed user interface that provides an overwhelming amount of information; all of which is necessary to use the suit correctly and to avoid dying.
