Altar set-up for Marie Laveau & Li Grande Zombi in my outdoor temple area. Offerings included here are candles, water, coffee, rum, incense, red beans & rice with Cajun sausage, okra, pineapple, red/green mango, plantains, jack fruit, rambutan, & egg on flour.

Marie Laveau is famous for her St John's Eve ceremonies on Bayou St John in New Orleans. She brought her snake, Zombi, out to dance with at her ceremony.

Li Grande Zombi is a serpent lwa in NOV. Many believe this lwa to be Damballah Wedo, while others believe it is an umbrella term for all the serpent lwas, though it's origin is most likely from Kongo spirituality in Africa.
