Yesterday I finally had more than 30 minutes to myself, and got Binary Greedy Meshing using Integers and bit shifting to work.
It seems to be ~33% faster than my regular Greedy Meshing algorithm.
I havn't looked into if it could be optimized further or would be faster in C++.

Next up in my quest for hands-free locomotion - Jumping! I use the same system as normal locomotion except measure velocity of head movement. Over a threshold, trigger a jump.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Ultrafast lasers create microscopic points — #voxels — within the glass, storing data in hundreds of stacked layers.
No moving parts.
No magnets.
Pure optics.
Player collision!
Adding pieces of the engine bit by bit, including my own physics. Now with locomotion, I needed collision. Calculated directly against the voxel octree.
