Church in Wales to vote on same-sex blessings next year, and same-sex marriage the year after Bishops acknowledge that ‘deep convictions will still vary on this matter’

The #ChurchinWales will vote in 2027 on allowing #samesexmarriage in church, after a decision taken by the Bench of Bishops.

In 2026, they will vote on making permanent the blessings for same-sex couples which it has permitted in church since 2021
